Game 3 of the 109th World Series was one of the most controversial in history. The series was all tied up at 1 game apiece. This would be the 1st game of 3 in St. Louis. The Cardinals jumped out ahead early, scoring 2 runs off of Jake Peavy in the 1st inning. Boston came back and tied up the game and the 6th and then again in the 8th after the Cardinals scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Then in the bottom of the 9th in one of the craziest plays in World Series history, Allen Craig scored on an obstruction call. Yes, an obstruction call. This is how the game ended in one of the most thrilling World Series games in recent memory.
