In the past 15 years the T.V. ratings have dropped tremendously. This World Series is evident to that. This year’s ratings are up from last years but are very similar to the past ratings since 2003. In 2004 the last time the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals met up in the World Series, over 28 million people watched game 4 of that World Series. This years game 4 got 16 million. That’s a 12 million people drop off in almost 10 years. My question is what do baseball fans want to see? Is baseball really losing that much interest? Let’s see what game 6 and hopefully game 7 ratings bring to the table.
