The St. Louis Cardinals announced that they had traded David Freese their current starting 3rd basemen to the Los Angleas Angels of Anaheim. The Cardinals let go of their 2011 World Series MVP, who without, would’ve never hoisted the franchises 11th World Series title. David Freese was of course the one who tied the game up in the 9th inning of game 6 of the World Series, on his team’s last strike, and of course did it again in the 11th inning, only this time to win them the game. The Cardinals got in return Peter Bourjos, an outfielder with speed and fills out a gap in the outfield needed for the ball club.
