The Arkansas Razorbacks came into the Mississippi State game in Little Rock, looking for their first SEC conference win of the season, and trying to avoid the first win-less conference season since 1942. The Hogs jumped on Mississippi State early taking a 10-0 lead before allowing 10 unanswered points to the Bulldogs. Arkansas regained the lead in the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter Arkansas had several chances to end the game but failed each time. Eventually the game went to overtime where the Bulldogs were in complete control and won the game 24-17. The Hogs continue to be win-less in conference. They have one more chance against the LSU Tigers in Fayetteville.
