There hasn’t been this much drama surrounding Nascar since the death of Dale Earnhardt. The last race before the chase was a nail biter. Four drivers were battling for 3 spots in the chase. No one thought cheating would be involved until Clint Bowyer let slip a comment that began the twist of Martin Truex Jr. being thrown out of the chase and Jeff Gordon being put in the chase. The chase for the first time is now a bakers dozen instead of the normal 12. The bigger problem is asking the question how many times does manipulating races happen? Nascar may have a bigger problem then just determining who should be in the Chase.
